Description
DIRECTMIST is a long arm mist sprayer for positioning small amounts of liquid fluids in areas with greater strength or control. The mist provides .12ml per spray or 25 sprays per 1 tsp of fluid. Swallowing practice can be provided with a safe, small amount.
For patients with compromised oral function either as a result of surgery or radiation, DIRECTMIST can position fluids to areas more functional or can be used with oral lubricating products. The long arm sprayer can be positioned 360º and can also be positioned like a straw.
DIRECTMIST works well with patients that are NPO to safely wet their mouths. The sprayer can also be helpful with vocal sprays for voice patients or singers.
DIRECTMIST is a tool to direct fluid within the oral cavity. Once filled, the pump is activated by pressing with the index finger.
DIRECTMIST may be used as part of swallowing treatment by providing small mists to the stronger areas in the mouth for safe swallowing practice. It may be used with post-radiation and oral surgery patients who may have difficulty moving or positioning liquids in the mouth.
The extended arm helps with the direct placement of .12mL of thin liquid per spray. In addition, DIRECTMIST may be used for administering voice sprays or for dry mouth. The extended arm can also be used as a straw for wetting the mouth.
